Leader Feature: Caroline Kaelin

Today we are SO excited to announce our next Leader Feature! For those of you who are just tuning in, our newest addition to the District Dance Blog is a series of posts featuring young leaders who exemplify our 5 core values. Our goal at District Dance is to empower young girls, so it’s important to us that their greatness doesn’t go unnoticed.

We are proud to see Caroline Kaelin displaying kindness and commitment to make our community a better place, and that’s why she’s our December Leader Feature.

Caroline takes Jazz, Lyrical, and Acro at District Dance Company and is also a part of our Leading Ladies Program!

As a leading lady, she demonstrates commitment on a daily basis. When she sets her mind to accomplish a task, she does not give up until she has succeeded. Whether it be in the classroom learning a new topic or in the studio mastering dance technique, she works tremendously hard to achieve her goals. Her current goal is to get her splits, and she stretches every day to achieve that. She has learned to set goals for herself and has realized the benefits of hard work.

We love to see Caroline’s character at work. This year, Caroline was selected as a student ambassador for her grade to welcome new students. Along with the guidance counselor, she has met with many new students to get to know them and make them feel welcome. Through this work, she has grown more confident as an individual and as a dancer. We are so proud of Caroline’s commitment to her family, friends, education, and to improving as a dancer.

Some fun facts about Caroline:

  • She loves to make candles 🕯
  • Her secret talent is that she is an artist 🎨
  • She fosters dogs! 🐶
  • Her favorite parts of District Dance are her life long friends and her amazing teachers 😍

Join us in celebrating Caroline and her phenomenal character! We are so lucky to watch these young leaders grow into beautiful young ladies. Congrats, Caroline!
