Leader Feature: Josie Friedman

Today we are SO excited to announce our Leader Feature for the month of January, Josie!

For those of you who are just tuning in, our newest addition to the District Dance Blog is a series of posts featuring young dancers who exemplify our 5 core values. Our goal at District Dance is to empower young girls, so it’s important to us that their greatness doesn’t go unnoticed.

District Dance is so proud to see that Josie is using her positive spirit to help those around her! This is why she is our Leader Feature of January!

She is always finding ways inside and outside of the studio to exhibit our values. Josie takes Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, and is a part of our Elite Competition Team as well as our Leading Ladies program

Her kind heart and love of dance shine through especially in the classroom assistant teaching the younger students in the Leading Ladies program. She has learned many life skills such as problem-solving, empathy, and patience which makes her a great dancer, great team member, and student.

We see that Josie is always committed and willing to work hard not only for herself but for the good of the team and studio. She shows up regardless of her own personal struggles, she puts them aside and will always give her team 100%.

District Dance loves to see our students pushing themselves to be the best they can be! Josie is always true to herself and her heart which is a strong quality to have! Through that, she has become a more confident young lady and dancer! We are so proud of Josie and the hard work that she puts in at the studio, home, and the community.

Thank you, Josie and we can’t wait to see what 2021 brings you!
