About Us
District Dance is a children's dance studio focused on empowering and supporting the next generation of courageous leaders! We have been a dance studio in Germantown for the past 10 years! In fall 2021, we moved to a beautiful, renovated location in the Kentlands.
Through our comprehensive dance education, our amazing team of teachers and staff inspires and encourages our dancers to be bold, take chances, and grow into not only strong people but beautiful, strong dancers.
Our dance family not only enjoys teaching the art of dance in the studio, but we also enjoy building relationships with each other outside of the studio. We believe a happy work environment is key to creating a positive atmosphere and retaining high-level instructors.

Our studio is our family! Our dance studio in Germantown is about bringing together our students and linking them up with the individualized support they need to feel connected to one another, their bodies, and their community. Our new location in the Kentlands will have the same focus! The more connected students feel the more joy they experience on a daily basis.

It takes a village! In every interaction with our students, we support our parents in their effort to raise children with strong character. Through praise, positive interactions, and setting a consistent example, our team isn’t just creating beautiful dancers, they are aiding in the creation of beautiful people.
Commitment
We are not only committed to our students, we teach our students to be committed to their dance classes. Commitment is a lifelong skill that we promote and foster from day one.
Celebration
Dance is a celebration of the creativity we inherently have inside us all. We spend our season working our bodies and minds hard and it's our goal to celebrate our students' achievements every moment we can -- especially after our two amazing dance performances! From confetti cannons and balloons to personalized gifts for each performer, we can't wait to make your child feel like the VIP they are! Come celebrate with us!

Meet the Leading Ladies of DDC!
At District Dance, we are focused on preparing our dancers to be the next great leaders of our community and beyond!
Leading Ladies is an enrichment program for teens/pre-teens designed to give our students the opportunity to learn real-world skills in a positive and nurturing environment. Leading Ladies provides leadership skill development, college preparation, mentorship, hands-on teacher training, and a behind the scenes look at how a dance studio runs!
